There has been a rumor for the last 15 years that the Secular and Christian divorce rate are one of the same at a whopping 50%. The study that was conducted in 2008 was a bit skewed.  The study was taken by people who identified as Christians but who did not attend church or practice a Christ based lifestyle. They found that Believers who actually attended church on a regular basis and who identified as "practicing" that took this same survey had a lower divorce rate of 33%.
