I want to share something that I believe Holy Spirit dropped in my heart this morning. "Reality is not always truth!"
Our earthly reality is not God's truth. Holy Spirit began to minister to me. "How does man even think that he can undo something that I have created?"
The reality is...some of us may be handed divorce papers, are going through a divorce or have already gone through the process of divorce. Divorce is painful, the operation is grueling, torturous and I believe exercising our feelings are appropriate. But, we cannot allow ourselves to get lost in agony. Once we have grieved it is important to realign our minds with the word of God and what Yahweh says about divorce. I realize standing on what God says and what the world tells us is difficult in itself because the world screams that we should do what makes our flesh happy. The worlds systems tells us that a Divorce decree is the end all be all. The word is here to tell you, that is furtherest from the truth.
DIVORCE means nothing to the Lord if he has not released you from a marriage. We can not give way to our emotions because what you are being presented with is NOT TRUTH! The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick, who can understand it? Jeremiah 17:19
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5. This verse does not instruct for us to trust our heart. It says to trust in the Lord with all of our heart.
Here's the reality...a divorce will happen. But a divorce in the natural is not a substitution for a divorce in the spirit. God will divorce you from the spirits of the flesh that are operating on your spouse. If your spouse has decided to leave the covenant for reasons that are outside of the confines of biblical divorce than there are enemy spirits operating in the mind of your spouse. Yahweh never intended for you to be married to that spirit(s). Yahweh will divorce you from the old and marry you to the new. Your spouse is in the process of being humbled, repentant, corrected and refined. Father is working on giving them a new heart. He does not want to return the old to be married to his beloved and cherished. He is divorcing you both from the wrong version of each other. So if you have received divorce papers or have been divorced...praise and worship him! If you have not heard from the Lord directly to move on, this is a test. Will you stand on the unseen or what your physical eyes can see?
